Checking In.

I'm just checking in and I am sorry that I'm still feeling setback with my energy as I continue to heal from my gallbladder surgery. As soon as I am able I will post more information about what I am learning in this process of healing as things unfold, but for now I am really feeling the need to rest and recuperate.

There are more than 300,000 gallbladder surgeries performed in the US each year and contrary to what many believe, it can be a very serious surgery and condition to have to live with and manage. I will share what I am learning about managing digestive disorders and what is and is not working for me as I continue to work on my healing. Right now I am finding that I need a great deal of rest and a very light diet of frequent small meals throughout the day and these meals are entirely plant based. I am not able to tolerate any meat, fish, eggs, nuts, or dairy products at all so far.

That's all for now.

Hang in there dearie, and be well. Small, more frequent meals are so much better for you than "three squares". Easier on your system that way.

Rest. We'll be here when you get back.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. I am told I have gallstones but so far they have not been a problem.
